Suzuki ride+Ice-cream+Movie
A quarter past 12 today (09.12.07), a text message came in from Rae saying that we shall go out and that she would be picking me up at 1400. The word ‘pick me up’ sparks me. Ha ha…. Finally, someone is coming to fetch me out instead of me doing so. Hee hee…. I was rather excited about it –> here comes my part-time chauffeur! :p
Instead of 1400, she was down at my block at 1330 in her little black Suzuki Swift. Its her first time driving her Suzuki as well as my first time taking a ride in it. Everything in it is computerised and there is a little screen on the driving board which shows you the rear of the road when you reverse the car. Isn’t that cool??
As the car was still in its run-in stage, we didn’t travel fast. Most of the time she was keeping to the extreme left lane. Must be pretty hard for her cos she is such a ‘chiongster’ on the road. Though the ride wasn’t really smooth (she is still trying to get herself familiarise with the car), I was still very much enjoying the ride.
We headed down to Ikea to get 2 stool for my work place, then back to my work place to place the stool before heading to S’goon Garden for ice-cream. There is this ice-cream stall there which I got to know from a TV programe but I have never been there before. Just nice Rae wanted to have ice-cream and we happened to be around that area, so I brought her there. The place isn’t big but good enough to get yourself some nice ice-cream.
Leaving S’goon Garden, she sent me home to get ‘Da-Fan-Shu’ to catch a movie at J8 as she needed to return the car to her bro. She suggested that we watch "The tattoist" and as we were entering into the cinema, she got frightened by the poster staging the movie "One Missed Call" again! She was freaked out by it yesterday and she had to go through the ordeal today yet again. It was really very bad cos it was written all over her face…. She was cursing the darn poster and swear that she is not gonna step into the cinema again till that movie is down. Gosh…. Really can’t tell that a gal who is always bullying me to be frightened so easily…. See lah, do too many evil things liao. Ha ha….
Anyway, back to the movie "The Tattoist". The both of us were rather disappointed by the whole show. It was being classified as the most horrifying horror movie lately in Aust but it didn’t turn out to be any horrified. In fact, its just a little gruesome and thats about it. As for the details of the story line, I shall not go into it. Following the movie, we went to shop around for a while and headed home cos Ms Li has became a Cinderella and needed to get home before 2200 for her beauty sleep! See the problem when you gets older? You get tired easily….
